Shipping Delay

I have seen other posts regarding shipping Delay's. I feel mine is now the worst Dell experience I have ever had with a a company.

I ordered a Dell 34 Curved Gaming Monitor - S3422DWG back in January 23, 2022 which they confirmed the order and I was told the monitor was in production. Estimated Shipped date was February 23, 2022. I found out due to an issue with a part they were having delay's in shipping. I waited until February 23rd no update. I chatted with online support after to find out what was going on. Customer service chat told me it was being shipped and I should have the monitor in 10 business days. The challenge was there was no tracking number on my account. They said do not worry it would be created. I waited a few business days and reached out again because there was no tracking number. I was told not to worry again it was being shipped I just need to wait. I asked how is it being shipped if there is no tracking number they said the team will create it.

So now it's March 30th. I have called, and now supposedly been speaking to a customer service supervisor who now has told me a Purolator label has been created and the monitor was supposed to be picked up on Friday March 25th, 2022. It is now Wednesday March 30th and I have spoken to Purolator not only do they not recognize the Purolator Tracking ID they have no record of picking up the Monitor and told me to speak to Dell Customer service. Which I have not once heard back via email from a Dell customer service agent and/or supervisor. I have been called twice by someone saying they are a supervisor and they will make sure my order is shipped. Again it appears I was not told the truth.

Not only is Dell having logistic issues, now the customer service agents and supervisors appear to not be honest to the status of my order.

This is upsetting because now have been waiting 3 months for this order, they have charged me for the monitor with a small 10% discount, which I have paid in full now. The agents have mislead me through this entire process which is the most upsetting of it all.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with Dell.

    Hi BrandonKNSS, same here.

I have order the S3422DWG on Feb 13, 2022 and the estimated arrival is Apr 12, 2022. However, it is Apr 28 and my order is still showing confirmed. I have tried to reached the customer service several times and they could not give me a date on when I can have the monitor.... It is quite frustrating that I have been waiting for about 3 months already.

Hope the situation can be improved.

I finally got it and now it does not work properly with my MacBook Pro. The resolution will not show anything past 1080p.  I have been on the phone with Apple support for several weeks and they just say reload my system nothing they can do. Dell Support wants me to pay for support.

Once again Dell support is not helping.

I finally received my monitor in May. Looks like I need a external docking in order to get the 3440 x 1440 resolution...

What Dell does not tell you is you need a USB C to DisplayPort cable to get that resolution. It took months of troubleshooting with no help from Dell support to find that out. They should have that right in the technical description that to get this resolution you have to purchase this cable. It doesn't even come in the box...
