Using delivery partners which don't deliver!

I live in regional NSW..

I placed an order for a monitor some time ago..  Last week (Oct 28) Dell told me the item had been picked up in Sydney by their delivery partner Startrack and should be delivered on Monday 1st of November.  Of course it hasn't arrived yet.  I enquired with Startrack and they tell me the same thing all these companies say..
"We are so busy because of the pandemic, pls be paitient and it will be deliverd in the next 5 - 10 business day's"

We are now 18 months into this pandemic and this company still can't deliver.  If they have taken on too much business which they are in-capable of delivering, whey do the do it?

Can I suggest Dell in Australia look for another delivery partner which has the capababilities to deliver their goods to customers on time.  I often order things from RS Components and they use Toll.  They send everything via same day dispatch and without fail it has arrived at my place the following day or day after.  Toll seem to have the capability to deliver promptly and reliably, while Startrack are out with the fairies!

What can I say, but thanks..

Dell customer service kicked in and the monitor arrived within a couple of hours..  I could see the courier wasn't Startrack, but suspect the monitor had arrived at the local base nearby and they simply got somone else to deliver it to me, as I'm only 12 Km away from the local depot..  A pleasant surprise..
