Workstation Feedback
Hello,
This is feedback. The Precision 7xxx series is great. However, it doesn't make sense to have everyone use this device. There are places where lower-end devices are needed. In this context, I purchased 3 units in the past. These devices are the Precision 3561. Being a work-oriented device, it is heavily affected by the workplace environment. I experience even more trouble in warm environments. In air-conditioned environments, combined with dust, heating issues arise yet again.
Therefore, I have two requests:
Please consider implementing a design with at least 2 air vents/grilles in all your laptops. Include at least 2 fans and a larger heatsink. Otherwise, these devices do not have a long lifespan.
My second request is regarding integrated graphics cards like Xe Graphics. For instance, suppose you are in a long meeting—these graphics cards are simply not enough. I believe there should be a dedicated graphics card with at least 2GB, 4GB, etc., alongside the integrated GPU. In the past, there used to be dedicated GPUs like the MX330 alongside an integrated card. I assume you removed them to keep the devices budget-friendly. In my view, stable usage and long-lasting devices make much more sense from a budget-friendly perspective. I believe the current setup, which requires continuous maintenance and perhaps even dealing with reballing, needs to change.

There is a 5000 series of models with the discrete GPUs. As for the rest, they're designed to be thin and lightweight -- based on the XPS models; don't expect more robust cooling from them.
