DX Retention Period in Move Rules

Hello,

I was wondering if we are using EX and setting a retention period there, what does the DX retention period imply in a Move Rule? We are moving it to a "compliance set" Centera. Does the EX Retention Period Overwriite the DX Move Rule Retention Period? Do they work cumulatively?

    In the EX Administrator program you can select a Centera media type by right clicking the computer object. Doing this causes EX to issue API calls to DX which then creates Move Rules reflective of the retention set on the EX Archive folder.
