DELL C2660DN Color Laser/Tray selection

Just installed the printer and it works quite well.

One question remains, though:

my old Samsung color laser automatically used the Multi-Function-Tray, if paper was in it.

The Dell printer, however, always uses Tray 1, unless I specifically select the MFT in the Printer Setup-Dialog, which is quite awkward..

How can I configure the printer to automatically use the MFT????

    Hello,

    please change the "Tray Priority" option in the "Tray Management" menu on the printers on-screen display.

    If paper trays loaded with the same paper size and type exists, the paper tray is selected according to this priority order.
