E5420 + E6320 WinXP Pro SP3
Hi all,
I need to prepare a Windows XP SP3 Master with E5420 + E6320. The installtion is scripted. On some point Dell Control Point Version 1.6 shall be installed, and it doesn´t work. Error message
The BIOS is outdated
But there is NO newer Bios.
Any ideas.

- HI,
I figured out that this really is not linked to the BIOS version, cause I encounter this behaviour on new E6220 again.
Also, as this is a scripted unattended installation it will not work, Performing a normal manuall installation this is ok, but no idea what is the problem.
The fact is, that we install new machines this way for some years and it works like a charm. Nowadays with new hardware it won´t ,
I really would appreciate some help.

What command line arguments are you using with the ControlPoint install?
