Updating Optiplex BIOS
Hi Guys,
I seem to be going round in circles a bit here.
I first installed OpenManage essentials and spent a while trying to get it configured.
Then got told i need to use the Repository Manager if i want to update the BIOS on an optiplex and the OME is just for servers.
Got stuck on that and was told i need to be using the Dell Command Configure Wizard. but that looks like it needs SCCM?
I'm really confused about the many elements and all the documentation seems to reference older re-branded utilities which has me lost.
Quite simply, i would like to push out bios updates to our desktops and laptops(~300) from a single point. How is this possible?

Hi,
I'm looking at this problem too - have a huge fleet and two people to manage.
I'm looking at a KACE K1000 management appliance. I don't think Dell Command works for this in this way, which is why i'm looking at the appliance.
