Cyclic keyboard problem
Unlike my last laptop, this keyboard never had liquid spilled on it.
Regularly, backspace, backslash and enter keys fail to work. I tried deleting the driver, blowing out keys but the following symptoms keep occurring.
- backspace, backslash and enter keys fail to work
- I press all three for about two seconds
- they work for a while (sometimes only once)
- they fail again (back to the first dot point)
I'm guessing a new keyboard is required to correct a circuit fault, but am asking if someone else has experience and can suggest an alternative?
PART 2: If keyboard replacement is necessary, a hand tremor puts the intricate work beyond my capacity. How much should I expect to pay?
