make sure that Windows is not turning it off. check in power settings

For the past few months my inspiron has been operating slower.  It has performed particularly poorly when using an external webcam with zoom.  However, even loading word documents had developed a noticeable delay.  In addition, the Waves Audio Maxx pop-up no longer appeared when I plugged in an audio device.  After trying a variety of "fixes" what ended up working was rolling back to the previous audio driver update.  The October 2021 realtek audio driver update appears to break something.  I am not super-techy, so I cannot explain what was broken.  However, if you have the above symptoms, you may want to try the driver listed below.  Rolling back to this driver corrected all of the slow computer symptoms my inspiron was experiencing.  I can use my external webcam and headset with zoom again :).

Checked the power settings, but problem not solved.
