Overpriced Junk

I am normally not the kind of person to leave a bad review, but this is absolutely the worst laptop I have ever had. I paid almost $400 for this laptop, expecting it to be at least mediocre, and got a $400 piece of junk instead. The disc drive is missing, the USB ports don't recognize anything, and the computer likes to freeze quite a bit. This is definitely the first and last thing that I will ever buy from this company.

    That's not very informative.

On the flip side I'm very happy with my 7567. My First Dell and their online support is pretty good IMO.

    Disc drive missing?

You didn't pay attention when buying.

I was paying attention, the in store model had a disc drive. I just figured that my disc drive wouldn't just be missing. In addition to the lack of a way to physically open the disc drive, there isn't software for it either.

A good reason to carefully check system specs before buying. And I have an older Latitude E6540 that is a tank and runs like a clock. Also just purchased an Inspiron 5575. Pretty happy with Dell all around. I always tell friends and relatives to buy more than they think they will need and they will have a system that will last them a number of years before needing replacement.

I am not a Dell employee...I am forum volunteer

Serious work on an E5430 and constantly building and working on an i5-6500 Desktop

I have a D620 that is at least 12 years old. I bought it used. Except for the battery giving out which is to be expected, it still runs XP great.

Also have used E6400 which runs great with a new hard drive -- I bought it on eBay -- and a used E6320 which I bought from Dell Outlet.

I absolutely buy Latitudes. Inspirons no.

So in the store, you didn't like that there is no way to physically open the disc drive and there is no software and you bought it anyway from Dell online ??????? That sure makes a lot of sense. .
