Upgrading Laptop's resolution

Good day! My laptop's current resolution is 1366x768. I just want to know if it's okay to upgrade its resolution? Or not? Thank you!

In Display Settings check for the recommended resolution and use that.

Welcome to the Dell Community  @Alleyromae

By "upgrade its resolution" do you mean to replace your "1366x768" LCD with a "1920x1080"???

To better assist you, we would need the exact model number of your laptop/desktop???

Mine came with recommended resolution similar to yours, however, I set it for 1080 and have had no issues, I do need my glasses to read type, etc.

Hi! I want to upgrade it by replacing the LCD! My laptop is Dell Inspiron 14 3476. And I want to know if it's possible.

    Hi Alleyromae,

Thanks for posting.  Apologies that your system is not performing as expected.

We use laptops as LCD test beds.

The better laptops are the ones that we can swap multiple resolution LCD's and the laptops GPU's can switch over to what ever we are testing.

Your GPU's are able to handle higher resolutions. "Intel UHD Graphics 620 and or AMD Radeon 520 Graphics"

But I do not have your model here to test on.

We do it all the time but I cannot say with 100% certainty that your model can.
