Charging ban option
Hello,
I had a Latitude E6400 laptop and I recently substitute with a new Latitude 5480. There is an option on E6400 that stop charging the battery by pressing Fn+F2 when the laptop is plugged in AC. This ability helps me to maintain my battery completely healthy over 9 years!
However, I cannot find this option on Latitude 5480. Is "primarily AC use" in "Dell Command | Power Manager" works the same automatically?
Also it is not clear for me what is the "Adaptive" option in "Dell Command | Power Manager" and how it works?

Hi Safa_R,
You can find an explanation of the features you mention on page 7 of the user guide:
https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/dell-command-power-manager-v2.2_Users-Guide_en-us.pdf
It should also help you to configure your system to get the best out of it's power management features.
