Dell Latitude 5480 TPM error
After updating the BIOS to 1.17.1 on a Dell Latitude 5480 the computer restarts and has a BIOS level error that reads "Alert! TPM device is not detected". F1 must be press to continue. Updating to BIOS 1.18.2 has the same error. Downgrading to 1.16.0 removes the error.
Edit: Slight correction. I have to downgrade to 1.15.1, then I can upgrade to 1.16.0. I cannot upgrade any higher than that though or the error comes back.

Same problem after BIOS update.
Downgrading to 1.16.0 removes the error but the TPM device won't appear in BIOS.
