I have a Dell U2414H monitor and a Samsung LC24F390 and I want to connect them both to my Dell latitude 7400. As I read in the documentation I could do this using the HDMI port (with hdmi cable) and the USB type-c port (with a DisplayPort Cable). My question is: could I use a HDMI cable + adapter to replace the DisplayPort cable? Would this work? Should I active some sort of setting to make it work properlly? (sorry if my question is too silly, I'm really new at handling hardware this way).
