Dell drivers are optimized for their systems but you can install the Intel driver. I have used the Intel driver on my E5430 with no problems at all.
I am not a Dell employee...I am forum volunteer
Serious work on an E5430 and constantly building and working on an i5-6500 Desktop

the latest version available on Dell site is 27.20.100.9664, A11
We understand there would be a new driver released on the Intel site. You have all the options to install the latest one from Intel and check the functionality.
The latest one will be uploaded on Dell site after our product engineering team has completed the testing on Dell system. This should be done soon but we will not have an exact timeline.
