Alienware 14 won't recognize OEM adapter
I'm out of warranty, and although my motherboard was replaced 4 times, my battery changed once, and my dvd drive was changed once, I'm still having chronic issues with my system. I was wondering if anyone could help me troubleshoot the issue, hopefully with a solution that doesn't require yet another motherboard replacement. I ran diagnostics, and it's not the battery, which leaves it with potentially being the motherboard, or the power jack being the culprits? Any thoughts? I'm a college student and having this system operational is crucial, as I rely on it for schoolwork.
Thanks!

Hello,
If you have more than 10% left on the battery power, try flashing the Bios to the latest version (if you haven't already done it). Click here for the Bios download link. You could also try doing a power drain to release static charge on the system. Follow the steps below to do a power drain.
Let us know how it goes.
