1 CPU fan on the cooler. 1 PCI fan. 2 HD fans. 1 chipset fan. 1 PSU fan.
The active venting on the top is where the CPU cooler is located. The fan is on the very back of the system using the last 2 fins. It can hold up to 3 120mm fans up top to blow air out of the vents. I added a 2nd 120mm to mine in the middle to blow air out of the 3rd and 4th fin from the rear. You can also add a 2nd fan to the cooler for push/pull. You would need to buy the 120mm x 120mm x 12mm fan to make it fit. The Motherboard has 4 3-pin (1 is in use) fan connectors and there are 4 PWM fan (1 is in use) connectors located at the top rear of the system.
Good to know, Thanks.
Does it matter which of these PWM connectors you plug in the additional 120mm fans into? I noticed the ones I can see say it's for the the VGA Card I assume if you had your video card water cooled. Also, will the fans show up in the Thermal Controller once they are plugged into these connectors?
Thanks

It will not matter which ones you plug them into, they will not show up in the thermal controller.
Had a feeling it might work that way. Did you happen to remove the venting assembly on top to install additional fans?
You do not have to remove the venting assembly on top to install additional fans.
