Alienware Aurora R3. (frustration)
I purchased an Alienware Aurora R3 around 11 months ago. In that period of time I've had several blue scree crashes, (around 30), random shutdowns (that aren't bluescreens but just power downs). So about a month and half ago I place my first call with tech support. They connected to my computer did this and that and said "ok" you should be alright now. Well the problems kept continuing, after two more tech support calls, they 4th one they decided to send me 2 new Amd radeon HD 6870 video cards. Problem still unresolved. Ok another tech support phone call, explaining random power downs and such. Then after a week the computer would just quit turning on all together.
So, another tech support phone call. "OK now we will send you a new power supply." So, they send me a new 875 watt power supply along with 2 new amd radeon 6870 video cards again, which i did not ask for. Ok so power supply replaced. And Still NOTHING. Computer won't even turn on, a light won't even light up.
I am beyond frustration, my first tech support call went in over a month ago, I haven't been able to turn my computer on in 2 weeks. All I get is the run around. So far you've sent me 4 video cards which retail at $800, a new power supply, not sure what that is worth $150 or so. How many replacement parts and stuff am I going to go through until you've reached the value of the machine itself. I can't get an answer from tech support call center, what a joke in itself that is.
I wan't some answers, I wan't to know what you are going to do to fix my machine or give me a new one. I am a dell preffered account holder and i'm about to cancel my account. Seriously, how much longer is this going to take?? Customer service has been downright bad.
Thanks,
Kenny

And you're more likely to get advice from the right audience if you post on the Alienware forum where somebody else might have had the same problem and gotten it fixed.
Good luck!
EDIT: Looks like a moderator moved your thread to Alienware after I responded in Desktop General Hardware.
Did you check the power cables going to the GPUs?

You won't get "answers" here, as this is a users-helping-users forum, but you can get some advice:
Motherboard seems a likely next replacement. Insist on this and insist that your system be exchanged in the event that doesn't work. Make sure when you begin each call that you get a case number, name, and email for each person you speak with in support - they are less likely to hang up and/or ignore you if they know that you know who they are and can contact them and their manager. Insist that you speak with an escalations/resolution manager at the beginning; they will not hold your hand through the process, but they will pave the way for the ultimate resolution of your problems.
