Area 51: maximum radiator size?
Hi,
I'm looking to water-cool my Area 51, does anyone know what's the biggest size radiator that will fit in the little radiator cage at the top of the case is? I know that the fans in this cage are 120x120, but what about radiator thickness? Would that be a problem? Or can the cage be modded in some way to make it more accommodating?

Right. Because the 38m fan will then screw into the tray. If you use a normal fan then there is a gap. If you use a double thick rad then there is no gap but then there is no space for a fan.
I would use a standard triple rad,the stock fan that is in the case to screw it down and then add two normal fans to the rest of it.
Of course you could always mod it with a normal fan..find some spacers or something like that.

The top chamber can hold 3x120mm fans but the best you can do is 3x single 120 rads and not a 240 or a 360 single rad. Reason being is you know how the radiators stick out a bit for the hose nozels? There's solid pieces of metal blocking the very left and right side of the chamber so the hose nozel has to face towards you (Alienware sets up their default 120 rad like that) you also need a 38mm thick 120mm fan for clearance purposes. I hope this helps.
