Go to SolutionScreen issue Alienware m18x
I was trying to find answer to it but nothing so I have small problem with my Alienware m18x which is screen colour problem,
I try to make the D + power button and it was fine, I connect Laptop to external display which is ok problem looks like that : You can see that on purple we can see an blue lines where others are ok

have you checked to see if its oil from hands.. try cleaning the screen, my M18X screen use to touch keyboard and everytime I opened it up it had similar looking marks on screen..(just a thought)
also have you tried running a colour test to see if it appears.

have you tried FN+F7 I believe and reboot to onboard video, see if it makes any difference?

I am sorry everywherein internet is like m18 and m18x on same shape.
Did it what you said and I am very thank full to you it warks and those blue things gone thabks again.

F7 is volume down and how change to onboard video?

- okay is this the newer M18? or the older M18X sound slike the M18(newer model)
Older m18X is FN+F7 and newer M18 is switch to the integrated GPU by pressing FN+F5 and restarting the notebook.)
