audio media controller not configured correctly
This computer is my dad's old computer dell xp home edition he accidently deleted the audio driver? i don't know how, but i have tried everything to get the driver back on here and no help, please help me get sound back on my computer? it says new hardware found and then when i try to install it it says insert disk and I dont have a disk.

i have already tried that and it says it cant be completed, i guess this is the model number idk? CN-0G1494-708021-33L-6FTZ i found this when i was looking up what type of sound it was all I could find was libusb-win32.sourceforge.net file version:0.1.12.1 Copyright@2002-2005 s.meyer

The PC Model Number would be something like "Dimension 5100", "XPS400", "Inspiron 530", etc. There will be a label on the PC front or top edge with the Dell model number.

Without the PC Model Number, and what type of sound it has (Integrated on the motherboard or a separate sound card) we can't point you to the correct driver.
Or you can try yourself. Go to www.support.dell.com and either enter the Service Tag number or model number to access the Dell downloads. You can download the sound driver there.
