boot sequence
[ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy]. I need to replace the hard drive and reload Win 7. It won't let me renumber the boot sequence so I can boot from dvd.

It always helps to post your Dell computer model.
Try this. Boot the computer, as soon as you see the Dell splash screen tap the F12 key. This should bring up the Boot menu. Select the option to boot from the on-board CD(yes it will access a DVD drive)
