I used to have a speaker set-up that was 4.1 and I changed to a 2.1 set-up recently. I always go to advanced audio properties and change the speaker config to 2.1, but everytime the computer restarts it's back at 4. It's becoming a real pain, especially because I used to have the problem with the 4.1 set-up and now when it finally recognizes that I wanted 4.1 I've already changed to 2.

 

I've also gone into some Creative menus and changed things to 2.1 also, but that doesn't seem to fix it. I suppose I could've missed something in there though.

 

 

 

 

I'm running XP sp2, and I have a soundblaster audigy 2 soundcard
