Computer Will Not Start!

When I turn my Dimension desktop on, the following message comes up:

Failed at checkpoint, USBd.

And the computer will not load.

Any suggestions?

do you have anything plugged into your USB ports? I used to get a similar error when i would reboot while leaving a thumb drive plugged in.

1-Disconnect all the usb devices connected to your system and then start your system and see.......

2-disable usb emulation from the BIOS screen(tap f2 on dell start up screen)
