i just put a slot 1 to 370 that has a celeron converter card with a intel celeron processor in my r450 it have a celeron converter but when i turn the comp on it just has dell logo in the coner and vist www.dell.com under it. how do i get my comp to reconize it

This may not be compatible. The solution that works on the XPS-R series is to use the Powerleap adapter. See the following:

Thousands of people have used the Powerleap adapter with success. Look for messages on this in the Dimension - Upgrade Hardware forum.
