Dell Dimension 3100 I/O Assembly Cables

My Dell Dimension 3100 needed a Front Panel Assembly (Input/Output, Matrix, smith,miniTower,V2) because the power switch and the one of the cables (not the ribbon cable) is bad.  Upon receiving the Front Panel Assy., I did not receive the two cables that connect to this board.  The ribbon cable is good but nobody, including Dell, knows what this other cable is or where I can order it.  Without this cable, the board gets no power and I cannot turn on my PC.  Please advise.  Help!

This is just a wild guess, but did you plug the Input/Output ribbon cable into the FDD socket by mistake? Check to see where you pluged the I/O ribbon cable into on your motherboard (listed und system board components):

If you did plug it into the wrong socket - you may not need this additional mystery cable?
