Dimension 2350 memory upgrade Question
Would this RAM work for my pc?

on the crucial memory site they said dimension 2350 can take 3200 even if the manual calls for 2100 or 2700 speeds.Message Edited by patrick179 on 12-13-200609:24 PMBecause DDR memory is backward-compatible, you can safely upgrade your system with any of the guaranteed-compatible DDR speeds listed below, even if your manual calls for PC1600 or PC2100 speeds.

- Well if the memory is cheaper than 2100 I say go for it, but if 2100 is cheaper buy that, As I said before the 2350 bios will clock back any memory to 2100 speed. So don't pay for something you cannot use unless it is cheaper to do so.
- Dual Channel Kit means the memory sticks are matched very closely to each other as far as timmings and such, they will work fine in a non dual channel motherboard, but like I said if your system does not support it (which yours does not) you are paying for something you cannot take advantage of.

i have one more question. If i buy a dual channel and my computer doesnt support it what happens? i am very confused about these types

whats the difference?
