Dimension 8300 SATA issue

I had to reformat everything loaded fine except now i get this message before windows logon.
I have a Dimension 8300. When i turn it on it stops with the message- SATA  Secondary drive 0 not found. Primary drive 0 not found. Primary drive 1 not found, Strike the F1 to continue, F2 to run the setup utility. I hit the F1 key and it boots to windows fine.
Can someone tell me-What is missing?

    Looks like it's not seeing that your hard drive is plugged in. Had you made any changes to your BIOS or anything inside the case while re-installing?

    yes my handicapped son some how put a cd under instead of on top and it was laying in there, which my cd rom was not working. but its working fine now.   Ichecked the hard drive and cd cables and they were all tight.

    Could someone please tell me what the drve configuration would be for my Dimension 8300 which is-
    SATA Primary Hard Drive- Auto- ST312002GAS
    SATA Secondary-
    Primary Master-
    Primary Slave-
    Secondary Master- CD Rom Device
    Secondary Slave- CD Rom Device
    IDE Drive UDMA-
    The drive configuration on the dell website is different from mine so i am not sure what it is suppose to be on.
