George, following the new install of XP (I presume) did you install the chipset driver first, then the other needed drivers, including the network (ethernet) driver:

Don't know if it's relevant but of the three links you provided, only two drivers appear. A couple

of the links "speak" to the  same driver, the ... R58201. Is that your understanding??

Anyway, have printed out the instructions and downloaded the two drivers.

Can't wait to get off this "old" Win98SE machine. Ha!!!

Everything now seems OK. Had to use my ISP install CD but it finally saw the ethernet.

This machine is XP. The one I had to use to get internet access was an old 98SE jobber.

These are drivers for Windows XP.  Are you using 98SE?

 

In any event, the first two were driver links and the third was the download site for all XP drivers for your computer, if XP.
