Does CPU need Bios upgrade
I have a Dimension 4550 and want to upgrade the CPU from it's present 2.66Ghz (FSB 533) non HT to a 3.06 (FSB 533) HT model. My present bios is A05.
Do I need to upgrade the bios to upgrade to this CPU?

Yes, support for newer Processors was added with version A06.
