Hi I am using an Inspiron N7010.
Does this code mean I have lost the disk and cant retrieve my data? Or is there a way back into the system.
IntooksYou could try attaching the failed hard drive to another working computer using an USB adaptor similar to THIS and see if you can transfer the files and folders.Any applications and programs need to be reinstalled from their discs.If the above does not work and your data is very important to you, try contacting Gillware Data Recovery Process:Bev.

Data was recovered from a hard drive that fell from the sky when the shuttle crashed.
Ontrack is very good at this.
HOWEVER most people are not willing to pay for this service.
They charge $350 to analyze if they can recover data then $3600 to actually recover the data to DVD's
