Flat Panel stretch

Hi,

I have a Dimension 650, with a NVidia Quadro FX 500/600 card.

I have connected this card to a 24 inch sun flat panel monitor (rebadged Samsung) which I use, among other things, as my TV screen. The monitor displays full screen only in the 1920X1080 mode (or some similar resolution). Anything less than this, including 1600X900, the image does not stretch to the entire screen.

Any way to use a smaller resolution and still get ful screen? Personally, I'd prefer something much smaller - say 1280X720 or similar.

Thanks in advance

    It does.

But the image is compressed to the middle 12xxX7xx pixels of the screen. It isn't stretched to the entire screen. That is my problem.

Adjust it manually via monitor menu.

    1280x768 should work...

    1650x1050 is another. I think it's 1050 at least.

I've checked but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that through the monitor menus. Nor does one exist in the BIOS (as it does for certain Laptops, even some desktops).  :smileysad:
