GX270 shut down unexpectedly

Hello :smileysad:
 
 I have an Optiplex GX270 with PIV, 256RAM, video integrated and WinXp Pro SP2... when I start it everything is fine until the windows xp scren appear. When that happen the PC shut down unexpectedly and I can't find why.  I restart and try to start in a safe mode but i had the same result. I clear the BIOS, clear and make a new partition, format the unit, change the memory, re-install windows but i had the same result. somebody can help me whit this problem.

    Open the case and check to see if you have any blown resistors on the motherboard.  This is a known problem with the 270.  We are at 28 out of 420 with this problem.  A blown resistor will be either bulging, top crease expanded, and or leaking fluid.  If so, call Dell.....

    OOPS! That is blown Capacitors not Resistors. Actually if you look within the forum you will find this mentioned on a regular basis.

    Thanks you so much my friend, I found several Capacitors blown around the processor socket. Now I finding my invoice to be ready to call Dell.
