Hi, I'm a novice computer user, sorry to say, I have a dell 8200 dimension series desktop. I've had it a little under 2 years. The last 3-4 months the computer has gone down 4-5 times. fortunately it is under warranty until December, but this is very frustrating. We have had the mother board replaced each time, but no reason as to why this is happening. The power just won't go on. I have tried unplugging, switching cords, nothing works. I had a tech out last week, and it happened again last night. The computer is plugged into a surge protector; nothing else plugged into it has a problem, including the cable modem. I just can't figure this out. Can anyone shed a little light on this? Or maybe point me in the right direction? Do I need to demand a new computer, or is it a power problem in my home? I'm at a loss.
