I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to solve a couple problems I have been having with my computer. First of all, I'm running a Dimension 4100, with P3 866 Processor, Windows 2000 Pro. The main problem I'm having is if I'm watching a movie in the corner of my screen (or another graphically intensive task) and typing an essay or some other multitasking task at the same time, the computer will just out of the blue reboot. (No, it pops up no error messages) and it just up and reboots just like it would as you started er up fresh in the morning. This has NOTHING to do with power, I have checked all the connections, wall to surgeprotector, surgeprotector to computer. None are loose. I had a friend suggest reinstalling Direct X. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to fix this.. I can give any details as needed.
