I need to upgrade my cpu quite badly :) I know a dual core will be faster simply by checking my wifes PC. My mobo is the 0X8582 on a Dimension 9100. Chipset says: i945P/PL/G/GZ. My bios is currently version A01.

 

My current CPU is the Pentium 4 630, Prescott, LGA775, P4 3.00GHz.

 

Any assistance on what the A03 is compatible with on the highest level possible with this mobo would be very very helpful. I've read a bunch of posts on upgrading the 9100 but haven't seemed to be able to find one suggesting the highest I can upgrade to. Would this be an option?
