Internal power problem?
The power button on the front of the case blinks amber color. I know it is not the power supply, because I read that when the power button blinks amber color it means the computer is receiving electrical power but an internal power problem may exist. When I checked out the back side of the computer case, I noticed there are two small steady blinking lights where the network connector is located. One light is orange and other is yellow. I cannot found any troubleshooting for those particular lights in the manual anywhere. Does anyone know why those lights are blinking?

Hi, dallasmd:
You need a new power supply. Your system takes a standard ATX PSU. If your warranty is expired, here is one that should work.
I already put in a new power supply. It did not fix the problem. Front display power light continues to blink amber and no power whatsoever. Do you know of any information source in regards to Dell's hardware that covers why the Ethernet connector has the lights blinking on it? (The orange and yellow lights I referred to in my original post). Thanks for offering your help.
I already ordered the power supply from Dell, installed it and the change. It did not fix the problem. Front display power light continues to blink amber and no power whatsoever. As far as the integrated network connector, it is blinking continually without having the Ethernet cable plugged in. I'm sure I am missing something with the description of the blinking lights there, but how can a yellow light indicate activity on the network when it isn't even connected? The same question for the orange light too. I am asking this question sincerely and appreciate any help you could give me. Thank you.

If the power light is blinking amber, the computer is receiving electrical power, but an internal power problem might exist. Power Supply problem.
Link integrity light (on integrated network adapter)
green light — A good connection exists between a 10-Mbps network and the computer.
orange light — A good connection exists between a 100-Mbps network and the computer.
off (no light) — The computer is not detecting a physical connection to the network.
Activity light (on integrated network adapter)
yellow light — Blinking indicates activity on the network.
