Can you use PC1066 RDRAM with a computer using PC800 RDRAM?

Probably not, but it depends on which system you are talking about - something you did not tell us.

The 8200 will not run with PC 1066 RDRAM. There has been much discussion on these forums concerning this and the conclusion is that the 8200 cannot use PC 1066.

What is the official line from Dell?  Is it supposed to work?

The official line posted by a Dell Moderator some time ago is that PC1066 will not work in the 8200.
