Have installed zone alarm. Many thanks. Soon as i switched on to the net it came up with two warnings which have now cleared.
Are there any other free downloads i can access to increase security. I have already zip drived all info off the main drive onto floppy and have reinstalled in old dell.
Amazingly whilst i was typing this out another two warnings have just appeared.
says.
Firewall has just blocked internet access to your computer [ TCP Port 1199] from 195.54.104.166 [HTTP].
second says same but 1198.
What are these numbers?

I do not know of any more freebies but you can check out Cnet. Norton has a firewall that gets good ratings. However, you are probably OK now. The numbers are the dynamic addresses of servers.
