Missing "Run" Command on Start Menu

The Run command on my start menu is missing? Where do I find it, or how do I get it back?

What OS are you running. Do you have TweakUI or similar installed?

This may sound too simple, but have you tried rebooting? I had a similar thing happen (actually lost all the commands on the start menu) and rebooting brought them all back. Evidently, just a hiccup.

Well, I had hoped you were going to say WinXp. Perhaps Me works similar. Try right clicking on the task bar and selecting Properties. Check for options to customize the start menu and perhaps there is a check box to enable/disable showing the 'run' command.

I am running Windows ME. I don't have TweakUI installed, and as far as I know it was there this morning and gone tonight.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the Windows 98/ME menus will scroll.

If your start menu runs from top to bottom of your screen then look for a couple of small down or up arrows at the top and bottom of your start menu. If they are there then just hover over them and your start menu will scroll.

    Thanks,

The switch Derf describes does exist in ME. Right click taskbar | properties | advanced tab | scroll the list in the small window on that tab.
