If I place an order on Friday, and chose next-day shipping, will I recieve the shipment on Saturday, or on Monday?

Thanks,

Joe

    joe8200,

The chances are you will not receive the computer the next day. Check in Customer Service - General on Mondays for an estimated lead time for the model of computer you are planning to order. The computer will never reach you the day after you place your order. It must be built first.

If shipping next day UPS, shipped on Friday, Monday is the next business day. You don't want to pay the tab for a UPS Saturday delivery, almost double the cost. 2nd day is the best bargain for the money. Been in the business for the last twenty years and the next days getthe roughest treatment. JD

Denny is right, of course. Find the lead times on the Customer Service section . It's not like McDonald's, fortunately. My wife's 4300 arrived three days after the online order, and my 8200 (no comments, please) purchased a week later online arrived also within three days. Standard $95.00 shipping (the "chocolate truck"). I thought that was very fast, considering Dell's online order confirmation indicated from a week to 10 days. Both were ordered/received in November.
