Go to SolutionPCIe on Optiplex 745
I'll be working with a mini tower which has a 305w power supply and want to install a 1G PCIe video card. But the 1G card requirements suggests 350w some even 400w. Would I cause problems to my power supply if the video card is installed anyway?

Dell supplies are under rated so your 305 will most likely be around 350W. About the only thing that would happen is the card would not run with a under rated power supply.
