I recently replaced my old motherboard when I wanted to upgrade the xeon processors. I had 1.7Ghz xeons in it and wanted to upgrade to 2.8Ghz ones. So I purchased a used 03n384 because I was told that one would support the processors. I installed the new 2.8's and when I booted the computer it showed that I only had 2.0Ghz's not 2.8 ones. I have all the latest BIOS and updates that are available, but no matter what I did, it would never show anything different. So I ended up buying another motherboard to see if there would be any change and now I have no problem. The latest one shows the correct processors. What I would like to ask is why wouldn't the other board show the correct CPU's? Thank you in advance
