Hi:

Something very starnge is happening to my dimension 8400. I came to shut it off and after 5 minutes it began starting up and shutting down! I pressed on the power button to start it up again, tried restarting and shutting down again but the same thing happened after 15 minutes, it started starting up and shutting down!

I pulled the plug and the next day it would not start up at all. I can see a light on in the mother board but pressing the button just doesn't seem to start it up.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Is it a problem with the power supply or the button? Can I buy a new case and move my hardware into or do Dell's have propitery power supples?

Any help would be appreciated.
