startup

I want to thank Denny D. for that site on Startup Items. I bookmarked it and I always go there for reference.I have some questions about some items.
In msconfig-startup, I have a Change Line.exe
entree.Do you know what that is for. Is it necessary to be there.
In my A+C+D box I endtasked Pointer and Mouse32. The mouse seems to be working fine.In my startup there is no Mouse32, just Pointer.Would you recommend unchecking Pointer.
Sorry to be such a pain ,but I want my system to be as fine tuned as possible. Thanks Mark

    Mark,

I have no idea what Change Line.exe might be. As far as Pointer goes, I would suspect that you need it for your mouse wheel. If you don't use the wheel, you can uncheck it. If you need it, it's easy enough to recheck it and put it back in your startup.

You might check here for further information on TSRs. You may find a reference to the Changeline executable you are loopking for.
