Question, I used to have my computer start up and I dind't have to click user name it just started and went to desktop.  Now after installing a new video driver, it makes me click on login user all the time.  How do i change it back so I dont' have to click user login and just open coputer leave and it starts up windows to desktop right away?

Hmm. I'm on a XP box that is tied to a domain at the moment, but...

I believe this setting is under Control Panel, User Accounts. Start digging around in there. It either has something to do with "require users to log onto this computer" or "require users to enter their password" or "this user always logs onto this computer" ...

    Could also be .net stuff.

Maybe you can use microsoft's tweak_ui power tool and the auto-logon feature, which works great.

Just spent 10 wonderful hours learning my new GEN 6 system.  There was a problem with my PC, as it rebooted and came up with an error
    "NTLDR is missing"

The Technician told me I had to reformat (thus losing all my data that was moved over to this machine), so I had to remove partitions and format the drives (Raid Controlled), reload my O/S, then all my files and programs.

Lo and behold!  The same error occurred again!

The night tech told me to change my boot sequence to ensure the RAID drives were recognized first.  You see, what he figured out was that my LOCAL USB connected external HDrive connected to my machine moved up infront of my Local HDrives for BOOT Order...

Hrmm, who would have thought, eh?  If you have a XPS 6; make sure you don't freak with that error, check the boot order to ensure it is the right configuration.
