Studio 540, Win8, Unknown device in Device Manager

Hello guys,

I have a Dell Studio 540 (year 2009)  with WIN 8 (X64) that is displaying an "Unknown Device" in Device Manager:

USB/VID_14308PID_1F17

I have tried searching the internet using the Hardware Vendor ID and Device ID provided in the details section of the "Unknown Device", USB/VID_14308PID_1F17. No results until now. Any help would be great. Thanks for your time and understanding.
Cheers

PS no idea which one is it ....from this link:

Do you any PCI cards or USB devices? I am wondering if it's a card reader or the Intel Management Engine.

I suggest Intel's online chipset identification utility. If it's the Intel Management Engine, it may suggest a driver.

VID is the vendor ID. A search for vendors brought up the Intel Management Engine, althoug that particular ID is not Intel's.
