Support issues

I am new to this board.
I have been on the phone with support for months and I am at my wits end.
I have had blue screen errors, and serious lagging problems with my XPS 400 since its been new.
Each time I call I get a different tech person, I know they read what my problems have been, but they still want to try to correct this problem the same way the last tech did.
I've done a complete PC restore 3 times, I run full diagnostics 3 times, they even had me completely dump and reinstall everything (note: when I did that and the computer booted with no software at all, it still ran erractic.) and I let them know, but still have same issues.
They had me remove my modem.
They had me remove my soundcard.
They had me remove my TV tuner.
They replaced my motherboard.
Still same issues!!!
I have spent countless hours on the phone with support!
I've come to realize that calling support is not going to correct this problem, That is why I have come here.
I truly believe I got a lemon.
If so, can I make them replace the computer, or can I just send it back to dell and have them fix it!
I am not going to waste another minute of MY life on the phone with support.

Any suggestions would be appreciated,
Thanks
Jack

customer care will not replace your system after 21 days from the invoice date. you may be able to convince a tech support manager or supervisor to exchagne it for you, but dells policy is to repair the system. one thing to note; if they do set up an exchange for you, it will most likely be refurbished.

    good point that is true.

but think of it this way: you just need to get something that works and you don't want to spend any more time on it.

well if it is after 21 days you are problably out of luck.  However, contact tech support and request a new system and I am pretty sure you will get a new one since you have had so many problems.
