USB 2
Hi,
I have just bought a new digital camera - Fuji S7000. When I connect to the Computer, a Dimension 4400, a message appears about he USB connection. It seems to want a USB 2 driver. The photographs can be downloaded and uploaded ok but it seems to take some time. Do I need to install another driver for it work properly

- Are you sure your system supports USB 2? According to Dell's Master list at this link here your model isn't listed. Then again they have been a little slow updating some of the documentation for the newer models. Here is an additional link here that describes how to check if your system supports USB 2.
Ceri - I just wanted to clarify something - your reply to USB 2 said that you need Win XP to support USB 2. But all the computer stores are perfectly willing to sell cards to upgrade USB 1.1 to USB 2.0 - and on the packages it says compatible with Win98 SE. Can you upgade to 2.0 on a computer using Win98 SE?
I have a 4100 Dell Dimension, running Win98SE, and am just getting ready to install a USB 2.0 card to upgrade it. Please save me a headache if this isn't going to work!

Hi,
You need Windows XP SP 1 to run USB 2. You also need the correct chipset drivers installed.
