USB transaction error / Intel 82801
Hi all,
We have a problem with the USB controller of several of the Intel 82801 controllers.
Situation:
- Two of our USB devices are plugged in.
- One device is removed.
- Problem: A active BULK IN USB transaction (pending irp / urp) of the other (!!) device is aborted with error. This causes data loss.
On our devices we use the Philips USB controller ISP1582, running in HighSpeed mode.
This problem doesn't occure e.g. with NEC or SIS USB controller. It additionally doesn't occure with our devices only; if e.g. you take two common USB memory sticks, copy data to one and remove the other while copying, the copying is aborted with error, too.
The problem occurs on all 6 tested (and different) Dell-PCs having that Intel 82801.
We'd appreciate any hint / help / information.
